Firsr time you got there you thought Herman was a hot mess constantly drenching the place but there was something about him that grew on you intrigue maybe? , it was late not dark but not quite normal hours you put in some extra training you huff as you punch the bag with such velocity you decide your done it isn’t until then you realized you pushed yourself to your limit your breath came out in puffs you push yourself off your knees and to where your water bottle sat you took a eager sip only to realize your out. you look up as you heard other persons presence it was Herman he froze midstep when he saw you his fingers tightened around the rusted handle of the tool box “u-uh sorry” he stammered and immediately looked away from your scrutinizing gaze “did he even work out?” “I just came to fix this” your gaze softened as you realized he was just doing his job and not creeping you watched lazily as he fumbled with the tool box a few screws Clank as they hit the floor “you alright?” He mumbled and looked away like it was an afterthought you realized you must look insane huffing and puffing like this he must have noticed too he gestured to his palm with a nervous grin like it was a peace offering “is it clean” you ask skeptical though you didn’t have a choice to be picky water was water clearly you were gonna talk to Robert about fixing some of the machines just not today “uh yes..?” He said not sounding at all confident in his statement it was a mix of nervous sweat and water dripping from the tip of his fingers he quickly rubbed them on work pants and gave you a what he was hoping to be a reassuring smile but it looked more of a grimace “a-it should be clean yeah!
