game progress update on our DR-inspired fangame! it's been a super long while since we've posted our game caps, so here are a few! we've still got a long way to go, but if i had to measure how long our alpha took to play, i'd say about a good thirty minutes! as you can see, some things have changed since the last cap post! how exciting!

MAIN MENU / GAME MENU REDUX! also, minimal animations added to it!

font change!

introductions have been fully coded!

rad music and animation/transitions

voices, as well as more CG, will be implemented

so here's a cap of a thing i made (and tested) earlier!

changed up text dialogue (DR-style font! hope it won't be too hard to read)

changed dialogue box (as well as made it double-boxed)

added a couple backgrounds (decided to make the game look 'cinema-style' and not fullscreen because that gives some of the images and sprites terrible quality)

and created a first mini-cutscene! (and discovered some neat transitions that are going to be so helpful in the game)

check this out! finally got to making the title screen! drew everything in SAI and added all the ~*cool effects*~ in CS2! also, i changed up the font so it's not the default one Ren'Py has all the time. i'll be working on game screens and more scripting later, but for now i'll take a break and do some more doodles and concept stuff ( 6 v<)/)
