It sure has been a while since I last posted an original post so Iâm a bit rusty <donât judge me/> Lets start simple, Hello. And to the new comers welcome! Honestly Iâm blown by the amount of growth this blog went through. Iâm grateful to all of you who are joining me in this journey of code. Iâm still working on the 180 project I started, I just needed a break and now Iâm ready. Iâve set a date [witch is January 31st btw] to witch Iâll begin working on the project again. <please please hold me accountable to that/> Now thatâs out of the way lets get to the gist witch is the title of the post
For a while now, Iâve been meaning to join any competition around code, but fear stopped me from actually pursuing it. I kept telling my self âI need to practice moreâ âIâm not ready yetâ âI just need to master thisâ âI need to learn thatâ and if you get down to it, Yes, theyâre all a bunch of excuses to not do anything. <do any of you do the same?/> This year however, Iâm not having none of that. So I bought a ticket, told my friend weâre joining [seriously having another person with you will stop you from backing out], and took the bus to Washington. At the beginning it didnât really sink in that itâs actually happening. It only kick in once they announced the theme. I made a mini video documenting the experience. You can see the high, the lows, the struggle to stay awake. It was brilliant [well for the both of us at least] If you can spare 15 minutes of your day or maybe youâre bored. have a look at our stupid faces]  Â
All in all it was a wonderful experience to witch it got me thinking why did I run away from these experiences to begin with? Anyways, Iâm defiantly joining next year! If youâre interested, hereâs the game we developed [remember we just did this in 2 days so please be nice]Â
So yeah, web projects starting on 31st of Jan, Game jam was awesome, and well happy coding to all of you.Â
