My first galsa meet! I love the layering, colours and accessories here but I think it would have looked so much better with the top untucked and I actually altered this top last year to be tight fitting. I know now most gal silhouettes are low waisted, and it would make the belt look less misplaced asw. I think a couple more bracelets would have helped tie it together and make my arms look less empty. And honestly with a look like this idky my makeup was so subtle.

Ignoring the fact this purikura is.. interesting… The outfit reads more like jirai. This top and skirt could go so well as a himekaji co*de if I had used very himekaji styling but for some reason I was trying to mix the more extreme end of banba make, bright hair and himekaji outfit together? At this point I also had no regard for what accessories I wore as long as there were some. It is so important and has such a big effect on a look, honestly no accessories looks better than ones that don’t match.

Side note I really miss this belt I think my ex-friend stole it 😭🙏

Another mix of himekaji with banba make and accessories that are bizarre. I’m sure it’s a combination that can be pulled off but I am not the one to do it TT My eye shape was good here but I seem to have applied my nose stripe with a single hair. Ultra thin nose stripes are just weird looking imo, I only did that cause I was used to button nose contour. Plus my white didn’t blend well enough and was kinda crusty (which is also why my eyemake is so creased) so my solution was make it teeny tiny itsy bitsy. I always blend my nose stripe slightly now even if it’s quite bright and obvious.

I hope you guys enjoyed my self-crit! I think this could be helpful to ppl and has always been a great way for me to improve and understand my likes and dislikes more. I’d love to hear people’s thoughts on these co*des or this type of post, and remember 90% of this is my opinion of what looks good on me, not rules for everyone.
