• Specter is, for lack of a better term, extremely emotionally constipated. He was like that well before he died though- it’s always been hard for him to truly open up to anyone. Especially romantically, but Gall really has his own special way of getting people out of their shells.

• Since that first kiss of death Specter’s been Feeling. He’s not happy about that at all. 

• Specter has a huge fear of getting close to literally everyone, he thinks he’s cursed and that anyone who associates with him is doomed to a grim fate, so when Gall tries to get closer to him and expresses romantic interest it scares him really badly. (He doesn’t show it though, he kinda just shuts down and acts stoic as usual.)

• Gall is smart, he catches on to this. He doesn’t know exactly what happened, but he knows Specter lost someone and is haunted by it. 

• He tries to pry sometimes, he can’t help it he's naturally curious, but really doesn’t want to overstep boundaries or do anything that could drive a wedge between him and Specter.

• Gall is into cheesy stuff, and Specter can’t figure out if it's ironic or not. He doesn’t mind the roses and grand movie kisses and Gall sweeping him off his feet to carry him bridal style when they’re alone but you’ll never hear him admit it. 

• When people are around it's a whole other story, mostly Specter blushing, flustered, stuttering to be put down. Gall thinks it’s cute.

• Specter can kind of be “on and off” about dating and being in a relationship. Gall understands and always tells him something along the lines of they have an eternity to figure things out.

• Specter claims he hates people touching him but it's because he's extremely touch starved. Anytime anyone makes a simple gesture he feels 300 emotions at once. It scares and confuses him so badly.

• Gall tries the “do lots of romantic things all at once” approach at first and it kinda worked? Once Specter showed any signs of being a little bit interested Gall was like “i love you bitch…. I’ll never stop loving you, biiiiitch” constantly. 

• Specter! Really likes holding hands!!! It makes him melt and it's not too much contact that freaks him out, but enough that it scratches the “contact with another person” itch.
