It's an ad, you have to mute the tab. Tumblr is the worst

that's how I felt about season 1 of daredevil - I could only take small bites at a time.

I’ve not attempted Daredevil yet (though I kind of want to because I worship Rosario Dawson) but yeah, I can only take so much Grim Dark Realism before I need to take refuge in a lighthearted sitcom or beloved children’s cartoon.

I’m loving the Australian-ness. (Like, throwing in that reference to ‘operational matters’ using pretty much ScoMo’s exact words was genius.) I think we often import the frameworks within which we have discussions of race, a lot of the time they’re very Americanised and while there’s commonalities there are also things very specific to our culture that I think are easy to gloss over if you talk about racism in a way that’s geared toward the experience of Black Americans.

i started it, and like everyone says the first season is awful, but i couldn't get through the first 4 eps. I'm going to try again after its all ended if people are generally pleased haha.
