Gallim...
The name "Gallim" is derived from the Hebrew word meaning "heaps" or "springs," suggesting a place characterized by natural features such as mounds or water sources.
The exact location of Gallim is not definitively known, but it is generally thought to be situated near Jerusalem, given its association with other nearby locations mentioned in Isaiah's prophecy. The proximity to Jerusalem suggests that Gallim was part of the central hill country of Israel, an area characterized by its rugged terrain and strategic importance.
Gallim serves as a backdrop for events that illustrate the complex relationships and political maneuvers of Israel's early monarchy. The mention of Gallim in connection with Michal and Palti highlights the personal and political ramifications of Saul's decisions, as well as the tensions between Saul and David.
The prophetic mention of Gallim in Isaiah underscores the theme of divine judgment and the consequences of national disobedience. The call for Gallim to "cry aloud" reflects the broader message of the prophets, who warned of impending judgment while also offering hope for restoration.
Gallim's inclusion in the biblical text, though brief, contributes to the rich tapestry of Israel's history and the unfolding of God's plan for His people. It serves as a reminder of the interconnectedness of personal, political, and spiritual dimensions in the biblical narrative.

@gallim reblogged your post: honestly one of my favourite under utilized things...
No kill la kill?
You’re like the 500th person to ask that/mention it/add the gif. I made a post about it because it was happening so frequently.
I get that it’s a neat/funny outside transformation view but I have seen literally hundreds of magical girl shows (Japanese & Western & others) and Kill la Kill doesn’t even breach the top 20 in terms of my favourites/cool examples of this.
I didn’t want this post to be 500 examples long. Sorry it didn’t make the cut! But you’re not alone in people thinking it’s a cool scene!!
