gallilea
no doubt it is an historic landscape. no stone that hasn't been touched, no grain of sand that hasn't been blown by the wind, no mountain that hasn't been climbed, no view that hasn't been seen. deep in the soil lie thousands of thousands traces and artefacts people over thousands of thousands years had left behind: walls, towers, tools of daily life and work and skeletons. the age of this country is hard to imagine. no traditional history book written by contemporary witnesses can tell us about what happened one, two, three, four, ten thousand years ago. you don't need to be a believer to understand from the bible that this land is amazingly old and significant for human society.
but to experience its unique beauty you need to go and see it with your own eyes.
