I'm late (again) and overachieved (again) for this month's @gallacrafts bc I had to learn how to draw a comic and cats while juggling academics 💔 I also don't know much about cats so take what they do with a grain of salt. But hey, at least happy Halloween eve?

Mickey is going crazy after Ian convinced him (read: bribed him with the good fucking) to stop smoking. He needs to keep his hands and mind busy and stop being an extra huge asshole to everyone around him. Enter: Lip, his third favourite brother-in-law. Lip has mastered knitting years ago and shows up one day with a basket full of wool under his arm.

Mickey huffs and shoots the shit but in the end sits down to inspect the basket. Three YouTube tutorials later he gives it a try. Crocheting, that is. Not knitting. Because Lip does it, so it must be lame (he claims but still wears the hat and scarf Lip gave him as a Christmas present).

A few weeks later Lip finds a gift in front of his house. A crocheted plush animal for Freddie. He doesn't have to ask who made it.

Freddie loves it of course. It's his instant favourite. Mickey smiles when he sees Freddie carrying it around. And yeah... Ian gives him the good long strokes he fucking loves so much that evening...

Franny has been asking for a pet for months and in spite of wanting to give her everything she wants, between the responsibility, the commitment, and the cost of food, toys, and veterinary bills… the answer just has to be no.

But that doesn’t mean that the Milkovich-Gallaghers can’t all get together and help Franny create her own magical zoo, one toilet roll at a time…
