galinette replied to your post âHappy Donghae Day!â
That's awesome that you know exactly the day you discovered kpop! Anniversaries like that just rock!
I don't remember why I even thought to look last year, but I'm so glad I did! And I was glad I knew the month it occurred, as well. I think we (H and myself) initially decided to celebrate it because it was a Friday we were already going to hang out. And then this year it just turned into a legit thing that happens on October 12. And they do rock! It's also nice to have a concrete date, so that I can be constantly amazed by how long (or short) I've been into this! :D

No regrets over here, either! Happy second year!
I'm so glad to hear it! :D And thank you so much. So glad to have you as a friend/partner in crime/etc. :D :D

I did quite like the show! Too much screaming for my taste... I ended up socialising with a mum who came to the show as a chaperone to 4 girls (I felt old! Socialising voluntarily w/ a mum) I did start on the pear cider & rosĂŠ at around 2pm though.
I almost always wear earplugs when I go to a concert (that I might even think might be a little bit loud) because I've had bad experiences with my ears ringing (and the subsequent mental breakdown that follows when it doesn't stop). The more you (and others) talk about the shows, the more I want to go, even when I'm not sure I really want to go, lol. Sob. And LOLOL, alcohol is a great coping mechanism???Â

2 reblogs and 1 morning reading up is how it always starts! :D (btw it's a great fandom if you like going to shows drunk because that's the only way one can handle a 1D show audience... when you start drinking 2 hours before and keep on drinking!)
That said, I kind of fell out that fandom after the show but because hockey WC had almost started and I had a job to quit and ain't nobody got time for all the ~*~drama~*~ in that part of tumblr.
Not having xkit on the reference desk computer is KILLING ME. Making this post was really hard, FYI :P Anyway.
I don't know if I could actually manage a 1D show (especially since I've really only heard one song, sort of and it was mostly to watch the MV ...) ... it's hard enough to imagine going to a kpop show (though I there are a few groups I would love to see in person, but will probably never have the chance). I imagine that if I ended up seeing Yoga Lin in concert, I'd probably be sobbing like a 12 year old fangirl, so who knows?
Although going to a show drunk sounds like it could potentially be a lot of fun. Though I think I want to remain sober to see Show Luo ... Did you have fun at the concert? And fandom does that to a person (see: me and cycling fandom) and actually, so does real life!
galinette replied to your post âomg omg omg i saw you reblog that 1d post!!!! are you becoming a fan!!????!!!!â
Haha! It's so easy to fall into it :D (although, tbh, after a month of following the fandom made me go, "I like the music/bromances... but DNW 99.9% of fandom " b/c there are a few of my kind of peeps in it but A LOT are just not.)
That's how I feel about liking Kyungsu from EXO. I like him ... and the rest of the EXO fandom scares me. I've only reblogged two 1D pictures and spent that Sunday morning reading/watching some stuff, but I haven't done anything else since. Does that count as fallen???? (The rest of mine time has been spent with Block B, but shhh.)

I shall shamelessly look over your favourites and see if I can borrow some here to take with me on the plane!
There aren't enough for that! You can look at all my books read since 2006 (and sort by ratings, etc) instead. That's probably a better way to find something to read. I can't believe I'm 6 books away from having read 1000. Whoa.Â

And now theyâll have pink baby sheep/squids that will essentially be sheep with tentacle-looking fur. (Also, I travel everywhere with an Elmo and a cat toy⌠soft toys are awesome!)
OMG. I love their babies! (And awwwww. I have a stuffed puppet skunk named Jill that I take with me everywhere when I travel.)

Maybe itâs that kind of bad that is so, so, so bad that itâs kind of good because it becomes a game of âcan they top that awful partâ?
I really, really hope so. Because I kind of want to see it regardless.Â
