Where: Frank's Automotive.
It was a pretty slow day and Jo was bored. Did people not use their cars in the summer? No one had needed her help, because they were either busy on their own thing that didn't need two people or they were also having their slow day. So Jo resigned herself to waiting. She'd taken place at the reception desk of the garage part of the dealership. They didn't have a secretary. The mechanics usually took their own appointments and the clients called the dealership directly. Two secretary had been deemed mostly unnecessary. Jo still hoped it might change. It would lower even more her interactions with customers. But there she was, feet crossed on the desk, slouching in the chair, reading a book she could barely focus on.
So she was glad when one of her coworkers called her to say someone was waiting for her. Putting down her book, she'd made her way outside to see Gale and his truck. As they'd time to talk in the ER a while back, they mentioned Gale tinkering with his truck and Jo's mechanic job. So Jo offered, in compensation for well... The Incident, that if he needed some helped with his trunk, he could come here for free. She'd feared he'd show up on a busy day but today, even if she wasn't overjoyed about working for free, she welcomed the distraction. "So, what's up then?"
