I procrastinated this post so long  - a compilation of some of the avatar backgrounds I did on Gaia Online! I’ve never, prior to this, drawn a background or much of one in my life, so it was just a great way for me learn! All item rights, etc, belong to the site.

Because we still can’t draw real trees....

Yeah, it’s been kind of hard sticking with it. All of the good people in the staff have either left (for various reasons) or been fired. And then there was the whole Tentacl thing (which I only really found out about yesterday). I was kind of mad, finding out that GCash sales were helping fund a “sister site” instead of all of the site fixes Gaia desperately needs. That’s not what I was spending hard-earned money for. And they really don’t keep us informed about things going on with the site; not like in the early days. I mean, literal weeks+ before explaining a site issue (if at all)? That’s not how you conduct a business. The people in charge now really don’t seem to care about customer service, which is pathetic.I feel like I should just stick with it until it crashes and burns. I’ve been on the site since 2008, and I haven’t really found another place I’d want to replace it with. I’ve tried a few other avatar communities, and people just weren’t as friendly. Sure, Gaia’s a lot more toxic than it used to be, but there are still nice people lingering around.

Seems like, lately, if they’re not tripping on wires, then there’s no one manning the stations for like an hour. Does everyone go on break at the same damn time? I miss the days of Lanzer.

gaia interactive went and shut down zOMG! today. It was a nice game and I will miss it. It was inevitable though.
