Hey science side of Tumblr do me a solid:
Tell me what the properties of a cube-shaped planet would be. Like, how would that shape affect things like climate and gravity?
So serious question:
I've seen Multiple Animator Projects, where several artists work on various scenes for a video.
Has anyone worked on something similar, but for a comic? Like, each person involved makes a page for a sequential story?
ARTISTS
Do you have any good refs and/or tutorials for drawing and understanding:
- (human) Anatomy - Color/shading (both traditionally and digitally) - Perspective - Space, spaceships, and stuff like nebula
If so, please send them my way!
Are there... Bible OCs?

I’m trying to gauge interest for a tabletop campaign I’d like to run in the future. The title for it is Sunfall, and this is the basic setup:
- The “planet” in Sunfall is an extremely long and sort of cylinder-shaped. It stretches on for countless miles in either direction
- The world is populated by animals that are similar to the ones in the Redwall novels or Zootopia (they have normal animal proportions, stand on two legs, speak, and generally wear clothes)
- A gigantic sun shines unmoving above the planet
- There is a prophecy that the sun will fall from the sky in a few generations unless contact can be made with beings on the Other End of the world
- Adventurers must incrementally journey closer and closer to the Other End over successive generations, bringing along the Sunfall Journal to record their experiences and knowledge to someday hopefully prevent the eponymous “sunfall”
- If you’re a fan of Warriors, Redwall, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, (and/or happen to be a furry,) those are the things that inspired this.
I am NOT recruiting players just yet. I still have to decide what system to use (and would appreciate recommendations), I have to figure out when I would schedule it, and a whole bunch of other things.
But if this sounds like something you might want to be a part of in the future, let me know!
Question for comic-makers
How do you depict sign-language in your comic? Do you use some kind of modified speech-bubble? Do you use <these things to communicate someone is using another language besides English and this is the translation>?
If you’ve never depicted sign language, how would you?
