p.11 Aht Actually, she was thought of as being the heroine. We found that giving her the normal human legs she had at first to be weak, characterization-wise, so I gave Konishi-san many other angles. And since she is a shaman, she has to follow Stocke since he appears as a spirit (to her), giving her the perfect position for a heroine; that position stuck, and so she was a character that was here since the beginning. p. 12 Gafka He really was a character that was made without any hesitation. His image was created along the line of Sangoku and the Buddhist Four Heavenly Kings. At first, I was given a rough outline for Gafka, Bergas and Galva. Since it didn’t look good in the style of many other countries, we settled on an “oriental” design. (Konishi, character designer) I wonder if Gafka and Rosch were always being set up in a style centered on battle? And I thought Wind God Strike was really strong. His Mana Burst too, really what I like about Gafka was that he is flashy. (Hirata, director)
