Work has been stressing me out so I only have these face studies

You were loved

To wake up alone in the middle of space, knowing nothing about yourself and why you are there, and when you find humans they turn out to be corpses of your crew. People you barely knew. People you don’t remember. You’re the only human around in a hundred years of travelling distance and instead of keeping their bodies around or their mementos so you don’t forget what other humans are like, you send them off with dignity. You still wish you weren’t alone, but you have to make peace with it.
