I thought about something. There was an ending in Star Fox Command where Fox and Falco retire and become "G-Zero Pilots." There were also those times when James McCloud, Fox's dad, appeared in F-Zero X and GX. If the rumors about the Star Fox racing game are true, then that, to me, would be very interesting, considering these racing crossovers. I know the endings in Command aren't canon, but I still find it interesting to think about.
Itβs Octoman from that dead series.
So I finally got around to playing F-Zero X. I'm a big F-Zero fan, but there were a small handful of games I hadn't really played in the series and X was one of them. Very good game. The controls are really fun and interesting once you get a feel for them and it becomes very satisfying to pull of crazy maneuvers. The CPU drivers I have a bit of beef with - they feel more like obstacles than actual other drivers trying to win, what with the way they drive, so I don't much care for that. But still great game, great game. Love the aesthetic direction too - it's got a vibrant comic book art style and hard rock music.
Anyway, the circuit models. They have a very limited presence in the game and they don't appear in any other games either, which is a shame. They hold up signs on the main menu for you to select a mode, so I wanted to draw her with a sign too. The self-promotion was the best thing I could come up with for the sign, 'cause why not? But, yeah, I guess I should put that link somewhere, so, uh⦠here.
