Chronologically, she met Nate Mantle first. There was instant chemistry and that carried her along a rocky road towards an eventual, blissful claim. Before that happy ending, though, she also fell for another man; Danny Andrews - whom she had incredible chemistry with, as well.

It was a long while before she committed to either, but as she got closer to Nate and became familiar with his struggles, it was impossible to ignore the instinct to help him through them. Her devotion to his healing, and the love that blossomed when she started to see a new and improved version of himself come forth shifted her priorities and eventually she made the choice to be with Nate exclusively. She still thought of Danny Andrews fondly as an ever-important chapter in her life, but they had more-or-less loss touch after she graduated and moved out to California with Nate. 

Time went by and Nate recovered gradually, but the biggest change came when she announced her pregnancy. Seeing his motivation spike and his recovery expedite all for the sake of their child fortified Daisy’s love for her Dominant. In fact, she was, without a doubt, in love with him. She knew it was reciprocated too, even if Nate couldn’t express that in a typically romantic fashion. She’d always had this rigid view of what an epic romance was, but Nate Mantle showed her that there were variations of that ending, all of which were just as capable of making the heroine in the story happier than she’d ever dared to dream she could be.

Felicity Rose Mantle came into the world as red-headed as her mother and as passionate and fun-loving as her father. While Felicity very quickly became a Daddy’s girl, Daisy still had an immensely meaningful relationship with her daughter and her love for her was boundless.

On top of a happy family and love life, Daisy led a pretty successful career as an author of historical, smutty romances. While she liked to believe her work as a grade above the kind it typically shared a shelf with, the same audience ate it up and flooded her inbox with requests for more. So, Daisy was always writing, and using Nate’s historical knowledge to fuel and inspire her stories. Of course, she also convinced him to role-play some of the more erotic scenes she concocted, costumes and all, but he seemed to draw the line at modeling for the covers of her books...for now. 

He tried. He honestly tried so hard to make things work after the girl he loved chose someone else. Nothing ever felt right though. After a second failed attempt to get a claim to pass with a submissive who was infatuated with him, Danny was losing whatever hope he had left. Time ran short, and though Noah tried his damndest to make things work for his older brother, nothing ever panned out.

Danny spent his 30th birthday being dragged to the local slave house, stripped of everything he owned and his beloved D tattoo blotted out by an ugly splash of red. Luckily he had arranged for his share of Andrews Construction to pass to Noah, something he handled in secret when it started to look like no one would ever wear his collar. The first six months of training cracked the will of the strong minded Dominant. More often than not he was treated like a farm animal, a workhorse used for manual labor and breeding when needed. Fighting back seemed useless when he had gotten himself into this position. So he took it, sinking a little every day into his own head, and losing everything that had made him Danny Andrews.

He was one of the first slaves purchased by Evans House, but the change in lifestyle wasn’t enough to make him forget what he was now. He was property, nothing more, and though Owen and Sam promised he was there to stay, he knew better. He was only good to them as long as he was useful. So he put on the charming smile for the rich submissives who wanted a handsome Dominant to play with, and wide open legs for the Dominants who liked to tie him down and see what his strong body could handle.

After a while, he stopped using his last name, even in his own head. It still existed on paperwork, but having a last name meant he had a family - meant he had people who cared. A slave didn’t have those things. He hides it from Noah, and from the people at Evans House, but Danny knows he’s just a piece of meat to be used until he’s no longer useful. He’s a slave, and his body is his only value.

That came to a stop though, when Bronson expressed the desire to have a family. Oz had never pictured himself seriously as a father. But, he knew his princess ached to be a mother, and he could never deny her anything like that. So Lavender came into the world, with Bronson’s beautiful blonde hair and Oz’s features, a perfect mix of them both. 

Of course, they couldn’t stop at just one. After a few years of saving and updating to a bigger house, Bronson and Michael welcomed their daughter, Peri, and Oz felt like his heart would burst. He had his beautiful subs, their gorgeous daughters - and of course, a cranky white fluffy cat that Oz adopted just after Lavender was born called Cumulus.

Even though the Changs never accepted his claims, Oz, Michael and Bronson built their own, and he couldn’t imagine being happier.

Having children was everything Delilah wanted it to be. Being a mother was her true calling in life, she was sure of it. Though she knew not everyone would agree with her choice of life for herself, she was happy. A few years after Cypress came their twins, Reed and Rowan. While taking care of the children, Delilah would also occasionally spend time at the Evans House, helping to acclimate the new slaves to their lives there and make sure they had what they needed.

Poppy came into the world just after Delilah’s 29th birthday, evening out their small brood of children to two boys and two girls. She and Hunter have talked about more children, but they haven’t had the news they wanted just yet. 

However - that just might change.

The subject of children came up several years into their claim, and after some discussion and finagling, Charlie was able to choose a name for Teddy and Ivan’s daughter, Fia. Two years after Fia came Charlie and Ivan’s son, who Teddy named Duarte. Life seemed to be shaping up pretty well for the Carvalho crew, with a thriving clinic and trips to Brazil to visit Ivan’s family.

But then Ivan and Teddy came home from the clinic one day - a day when, thankfully, the children were visiting with the Clarington children in town to give the partners a break - to find Charlie collapsed in his greenhouse. A few terrifying hours later, they found out it was a congenital heart defect that caused the collapse. Thankfully it was easily repaired by surgery, but Teddy couldn’t shake the utter terror he had felt, seeing his love, his co-sub prone on the ground without knowing if he was dead or alive.

Though Charlie has been cleared as fully healthy by his doctor, Teddy can’t help but be overprotective. Bear, who usually came to work with him, remained home with Charlie, after being trained on how to alert Teddy if something happened to Charlie while they weren’t there. He knows he’s being ridiculous but the thought of anything happening to his family is enough to make his own heart feel like it might stop.

They bought a small farm near Nantes, close enough for a short commute to the city but far enough away to have peace and quiet for the small flock of chickens, goats and pigs they cared for. Though farming was hard work, Beau could tell his Dominant craved more. Alex was happy as a house sub, Beau had his ventures - but he knew Gunner was still reeling from the loss of his intended job path all those years ago. One night on his way home from town, Beau noticed a property for sale, a street level storefront with apartments on top, and knowing the success of Sam’s business in Lima - he had an idea.

It took months to put things in place, but soon enough, they managed to open the Nantes branch of Evans House. A club went into the bottom level, a place for the slaves the business had bought and other, hired dancers to get to know the patrons. Those who paid the price and passed the screening would be allowed to go upstairs to further explore things with one of the slaves or dancers, if they were willing. Beau and Gunner managed everything, with Beau heading up front of house operations and Gunner handling the slaves, security and personnel. 

Evans House Nantes had been open and thriving for about a year when two terrified teenagers were discovered hiding in their small barn they had for the goats and chickens. It turned out that Hugo and Lola, the twin siblings, had fled from their house after Lola (born Louis) had told her parents she was transgender. Hugo couldn’t bear to see his sister leave alone, so they both ran away and had been living on their own for months. The two quickly bonded with Alex, and Gunner couldn’t in good conscious think of sending them back to a family who hadn’t even bothered looking for them.

After a relatively easy court process, Gunner and Alex became Hugo and Lola’s legal parents, with Beau named as a legal guardian. The sudden addition of two teenagers into their lives had their ups and downs, but they settled into a routine, making sure Lola was given the proper gender-affirming care she needed to be who she truly was. The twins are very attached to their adoptive parents and insisted on coming along when they returned to Lima. They even are considering attending Stonewall Prep to further their education, but Beau and his partners are not so secretly horrified at the idea, and they hope this visit quashes any notion of that the twins might have.

In the year 2035, Ross Berry is a household name.

Currently playing the lead in a revival of a revival of Funny Girl, in drag, of course, and anticipating another Tony nomination for the fact that he performs to sold to a packed house six nights a week.

He leads seminars and rallies to abolish and re-staff the academy with members that prioritize talent over a person’s mark. This, in addition, doesn’t help Ross’ standing with the academy, but of course, he doesn’t relent.)

On top of his occupational success, Ross is also happily, proudly claimed by Logan Lodge. When he’s not in Manhattan working and staying at their townhouse on Park Avenue, he’s at the Lodge Manor in Albany, New York, serving the love of his life.

Years went by and eventually they decided to move out of their apartment and take on a new, albeit risky business venture. With Owen brains and Sam’s brawn at the helm, they felt unstoppable. Sam, being the incredibly selfless person he was, never felt satisfied accumulating wealth without putting it towards the greater good - and Owen concurred. So, they hatched a plan. There was a Holiday Inn that was going out of business and in desperate need of repairs. Given the discounted price and the possibilities, Owen suggested they take a leap of faith and buy the property. With Sam’s name on the dotted line, they assumed possession of the run-down hotel and began to work their magic.

It was hard work, but eventually they were up and running. There was just one thing left: slaves.

Yes, slaves.

Sam and Owen wanted to make a difference. They wanted to change the landscape of their fucked up world as much as they could, being only two people. To do that, they decided to convert that run-down Holiday Inn into a safe house called The Evans House. 

Slowly but surely, Sam accumulated slaves; a few of which they knew well; Archer Clarington, Violet Cooper and Danny Andrews. All in all, Sam topped off his harem of slaves at about 20. They each had their own, lavish living quarters and were granted a bevy of freedoms within the safe house. Of course, even with Sam’s income, owning, feeding and providing for this many people on top of running and paying rent on the hotel was a massive, financial undertaking. So, Owen had the idea to put everyone to work.

A vast majority of the slaves were...sexually eager to say the least, so it made sense for most of them to serve as sexual slaves. The plan was for the safe-house to operate like a brothel of sorts. High-paying Dominant clients could book a stay and a slave of their choosing, or at the liberty of the hotel, given the kind of things that client enjoyed. The difference here was that the Evans House was staffed with ample security, all there to benefit the slaves. If a client overstepped, ignored a limit or anything else to make a slave uncomfortable, they were all at liberty to sound the alarm and the situation would be shut down. 

One might wonder; why would any Dominant spend so much money for a limited time with a slave under so many rules and regulations?

To Owen, the answer was simple, proved to be true and essentially flipped off the entire system. The slaves here were happier. And thus, the services were better and the clients enjoyed themselves more. Truthfully, unless a client was a complete monster who got off on the misery of their partner, dominating a willing, eager slave was bound to be more enjoyable than the alternative, especially when they got to enjoy all the amenities offered by the hotel, as well.

The government was hardly happy with them, of course - but their scope wasn’t quite big enough to derail the entire slave-system. Yet. Owen had plans to franchise out in the future, but for now, the project ran smoothly in it’s confined state.

Owen doubled as the head of the financial department, the front-desk person, and occasionally he assisted Sam and the slaves with the prospect of entertaining the clients. It was a busy life he led, but he felt perfectly purposeful and happy.

On top of everything, his other Dominant/boyfriend Hunter Clarington lived close by with his sister and his nieces and nephews. And it would soon appear there was even more good news on the horizon... 

Owen’s life was a lot of things, but dull was never on that list.
