39: Having the time of his life in his own personal fantasy world

(oh look. i finally have a fnw39 theory)

so, do any of y'all remember that hero from five ventures? y'know, the guy that tells the gang that there was some sort of evil that they needed to destroy? i've been wondering who he was and i think i might have found it.

so, i believe he is actually what 39 used to look like. think about it: him and 39 are the only characters in the game with glasses (dumb point but bare with me), the whole game does take place in his mind, 39 has such an ego it would make sense if he were to be hailed as a hero, and both can be equally cruel (eg: "teach a kid to swim by throwing him in the water with a shark" was spoken by the hero. i know it was an expression but i will take any sort of evidence)

and it would make sense in the theme of the game. he could be a false perception of 39. some form of self-deception. 39 could believe that he did nothing wrong in the past (and if you get the normal ending, he can just stay living that lie). but, in the secret ending, he's forced to face reality and accept the fact that he did do those terrible things in the past (not gonna say what it is since i don't want to spoil the ending) and he needed to wake up.
