@fvk-destiny sent: â âwords canât express everything a person feels." for Krouzil or Tazâ
âWith a little more feeling this time! Gods above Lambert, youâd think youâd never been in love before with the way you recite lines.â Taz was, for the most part, joking as he goaded the other man on--a freebie with the offer of helping the teacher prepare for the first night of rehearsals. Heâd finally convinced the board to allow him to present his own play for the spring production after trying to slide it into the curriculum for the past two years as head of the drama department. It was only after a petition by students that his work had finally slid into the âokayâ pile and he was able to finally cast his beloved students into one of his own works.Â
Of course he wanted there to be something to go off of, since the play wasnât exactly one meant to be put on by high schoolers despite some light adapting to make it âappropriateâ, and had enlisted the help he could at such short notice. Lambert had, unfortunately, been at arms length, which had placed him front and center.Â
âAgain, but this time look at me and say it like you mean it. Like youâve been trying for years to tell me you love me and the words just never come out right. Youâre frustrated, maybe even angry..! Ready to make me understand. Okay? Iâll start--â Taz, impassioned, stood across from Lambert on the empty stage, only a few of the stage lights on in an otherwise dark and empty auditorium. He cleared his throat.Â
âI donât understand... youâve never once said anything about having feelings for me. How am I meant to believe that you love me after all this time treating me like I was just another friend to you? A brother, nothing more.â His eyes were full of hope, expectation.
