FV432 is the armoured personnel carrier variant of the British Army's FV430 series of armoured fighting vehicles in 1960s.

A replica StuG III at the Museum of American Armor in Old Bethpage, NY on Long Island. It was apparently made from a British Fv432 APC. Not a bad job. Sturmgeschütz III tank destroyer. (March 2019)

Since its introduction in the 1960s, it has been the most common variant, being used for transporting infantry on the battlefield. At its peak in the 1980s, almost 2,500 vehicles were in use. The Mark 1 entered service in 1963 it has an all steel welded hull and multi fuel engine which can be converted from Petrol to Diesel. The FV432 is a multi-purpose vehicle with many variants, including troop carrier, command centre and ambulance., several have seen service with the Staffordshire Regiment. Some variants carried a 7.62 machine gun but others carried a wide variety of weaponry including an 81 mm mortar, the 120 mm Wombat recoilless anti tank gun, the Swingfire wire guided anti-tank missile and a 30mm Rarden cannon, also used on the Warrior. The vehicle can be used on water with a floatation screen attached and is designed to operate during chemical warfare, its filtration unit is the large box on the right hand side.
