I stim all the time!!! Stimming is so good!! I stim with colours, rocking, flapping, moving my hands Lots in lots of different ways, bouncing my leg, tippy toes, stim toys of every variety, soft things, ear defenders + rocking, chewing (light, my jaw hurts easily), switches, hand sanitiser (I love the cooling effect) Most stims are happy stims, but to calm down I: clench fists, slowly tap collarbone to breathing, tangle (specifically fuzzy if I'm feeling sad and plastic is too much), fluffy blankets, pressure, ear defenders and shaking my head Some destructive stims I'm working on changing happen when I meltdown or overload: head shaking (too fast), hitting my head, banging my head against my mattress quite hard, clenching teeth too tight, scratching myself because I itch lots when I'm angry and get hot
