Fuzz's Character Sheet
Name: Fusus “Fuzz” Excidium
Blog URL: the-perditio-councillor
Gender: Agender
Pronouns: They/Them
Interest Area within Thaumcraft: Artifice
Physical Description:
Fuzz is lanky and on the shorter side of things, though their use of heeled boots makes up the difference. They possess a style only lightly influenced by the traditional Thaumaturge’s garb, using purples and greys in colours but naught in ways of robes, as their clothing favours freedom of movement over protection from the elements.
When not covered by their cloak of distortion, Fuzz’s back is exposed, showing a winged tattoo characteristic of a councillor, identical in colour to the bolt on their left shoulder. It is assumed that their eyes have been stained purple through exposure to Thaum, as they were originally blue; however, this may not be the truth of the matter.
Personality Description: Young, sharp-witted, and with a penchant for magic-infused ink, Fuzz is not the type of person you would expect to rank amongst the councillors of the Eastern Circle. Despite this, they represent the aspect of Perditio on the council, and show a fair amount of enthusiasm for their position to boot.
Most days, they can be found either exactly where they are needed or nowhere at all; on other days, they’ll be in their workshop tinkering with new inventions. Though still fascinated by the aspects of Thaum (particularly Alienis), Fuzz has also taken a shine to the magic of Xeno’s Reliquary, and currently uses a hunter’s handgun as their weapon of choice.
Backstory: In their younger years, Fuzz was a prodigy, having taken to Thaumaturgy like a squid to water and pioneered incredible breakthroughs in the field of Artifice. The then-councillors of the Eastern Circle showed a great deal of interest in recruiting the mage, who, in their bright-eyed youth, instantly accepted the invitation. And after many years, an increase in wisdom, and a steady decline in brilliant ideas, Fuzz became the councillor representing the aspect of Perditio and sought to teach others the ways of Artifice.
To say they were happy this way would be untruthful. While they have achieved much in their life so far, they are steadily losing their touch; the Thaumic power which was once an integral part of their being is fading, and following a catastrophic failed experiment into the runic augmentation of armour, they have begun to seek out other sources of magical strength, beginning with Xeno’s Reliquary and continuing onwards into places unknown.
