My entire life I've been afraid of the past. No magic can touch it, can change it. it is, and forever will be stone. The future on the other hand, is a different beast entirely, the unknown always can be swayed by the right cantrips and half whispered invocations. And it doesn't even need to cost a pretty penny either.Â
While anyone can sway, only the real futuremancers can plan events. Many have turned it into a competition, who can create the most climatic cataclysms, showing off careful futuresight and planning to keep the deaths at a minimum, while ensuring the most devastation. It’s actually quite profitable, leveling a city  block often requires permits and inspections, while the well planned meteor (given the right futuremancer) is far less of a headache..
