A Touch of Class

Quinn arrived at the Hair of the Dog promptly at five ‘til ten and ordered a glass of red wine, just as he said he would do. He had switched out of his daytime suit for something a little more night-appropriate. A dark pair of slacks, paired with a white button-down and a grey waist-coat, accented by a dark purple silk tie sporting a striped pattern.
He sipped casually and let his eyes cast about the bar as he awaited his ‘date’ for the evening. Handsome, from the photos, but then one never really knew when meeting up with someone from a dating app. Still, this was far from his first time indulging in a casual hookup, and he already had plans for if someone other than the man in the photos approached him.
That wasn’t necessary it seemed, as he turned his head towards the door and spotted his mystery date arriving. Quinn relinquished a small, coy smile and batted his eyelashes in greeting, but didn’t rise from his seat or go over to him. The young ones tended to like the chase, and he didn’t mind playing a little cat-and-mouse to get the mood going.
