Click here to check out Minecraft being used in the classroom.
After being constantly bombarded with pupils wanting to show me their newest achievements in the Minecraft game, I was intrigued to see how such a popular game can be incorporated into the classroom.Â
The book shows the use of Minecraft in the classroom to help children engage with the key learning areas of the curriculum. I particularly like the idea of using Minecraft as a tool to convey English curriculum outcomes. After reading a section of a novel, students are able to use Minecraft to create the scenery and characters from the chapter they have just read.Â
I have only glanced briefly at the book, but this seems to be a great idea to increase creativity in the classroom. I’m sure as I read on, more brilliant ideas will unfold!
i think that in the future school should be out in the world. each person with their best friend/s get a 'teacher' who they have seen teaching to see if they like them and then pick them and then they travel around the world starting only with $1500and have to learn actual life skills instead of sitting in a stuffy classroom with a shitty teacher learning things you will never ever use in life
