Princess and the Burnout
I decided to put all the Tumblr Prompts and a few drabbles in one place. I am too OCD for it to be any other way.
The Princess and The Burn Out
đ
  âSupport her head, there.â
It was with hesitation, almost fearful carefulness that Gabriel accepted the tiny armful.
There had been several questions floating through his mind up until this moment. If he would feel like a brother, if his little sibling would see him that way- the possibility in the back of his mind of being forgotten once a biological child entered the picture.
None of these thoughts felt present right now, though. Instead, all of his focus was suddenly wrapped around the crinkle of an impossibly tiny nose, and the little snuffling sound that came from the newborn. The light wisps of blonde hair atop their head.
âHey,â Gabeâs lips pulled into a soft smile, and he looked up with a little laugh, to grin at his father and stepmother. âLooks like you guys.â
He looked back down at the baby, gave her his finger to hold in her tiny hand. âHey,â He whispered again. âHey- Iâm Gabe.â He told her, so quiet, to not startle her. âIâm your brother.â
As soon as the holiday is over,
I do plan on reopening drabbles. I am so sorry to anyone that sent me one last time, and I didnât get to it before my creativity shut down. I really did try, I just couldnât do it.
Iâm doing some exercises for myself, trying to get things working again, so I will definitely be reopening them soon.Â
I am also going to start to add links at the bottom of my drabbles - I wonât go back and edit the ones already posted, but I will just add it from here on out - for my KoFi & my Venmo (username: mmpettitt). A big source of my stress is money - between debts that Iâm still almost violently struggling with, and taking care of Caine, I just canât seem to find a footing, or a spot to catch my breath. (Donât get me wrong, I would literally sell everything I own for my dog. I just happen to own a bunch of crap, lol.)
I know itâs the holiday season. I absolutely understand what that means to people. But if you can help, in any way, I would literally adore you for eternity & be forever grateful.Â
someone remind me to do a drabble of the 141 and graves and los vaqueros with a Sabrina Carpenter style pop star needing protection I need Simon and Rudy to sweat watching her sing Juno and do the position sheâll want them in later while soap and gaz have to do everything they can not to hoot and holler with pride and remain professional (graves cheers with the crowd he can do both)

Over the Clouds - No Love for Monsters
Something I wrote for my Bleach-fic forever ago... Figured Iâd edit it and share~
Warning: Some Kaiza angst and dissociation
âSo um...â Orihime spoke, squirming in place, her hands wringing in nervous energy, âI uh... I want to ask you something.â
Kaiza furrowed her brows, unsettled by the change in tone. Sheâd been... strange since their capture in Hueco Mundo. Less sure. More prone to fidgeting and glances about like someone was listening in. Understandable, there had been many a watchful eye during their stay--both physical and mechanical--and theyâd both needed to watch their words and backs... Or fall prey to a greater predator.
But the Winter War was over.
âIâm not saying he is guilty, Iâm just saying we should keep an eye on him.â
Jean sighed, hands digging into his pockets. âSo youâre asking Madame? Because heâs not guilty?â
âHeâs not guilty yet.â Rebecca waved a finger, spinning around to face him as she walked. âWho better to dig up some dirt for us?â
âWell, I suppose youâre right.â
âOf course Iâm right. Come on.â
She slipped down the back alley past the bar, Jean padding along behind her, before hammering on a well-hidden door tucked behind the building, a pattern evident to her knocking. A gruff welcome sounded from behind it, and she burst inside, Jean following with a soft sigh and a smile.
âHey, Chris.â
âEvening, Madame.â
The older woman glanced over from the stove, raising an eyebrow, before chuckling, the usual assortment of bracelets clinking on her wrist, dressed in a deep velour housecoat, glamorous as ever. âWell, well. To what do I owe the pleasure at this hour? Troubling business?â
âSomething like that...â Rebecca sighed, slipping off her own jacket, rolling her shoulders. âSomething to be discussed in the dark, anyway. Sorry for bothering you.âÂ
âItâs not a bother. These things do crop up from time to time.â Jean peered over her shoulder, sniffing lightly at the pan she was stirring, before being batted away with a scowl. âHot chocolate.â
âDidnât strike me as a fan, Madame. Is there spare? That smells good.â âItâs not for me.â She tutted lightly, ignoring the whine from Jean, before stepping back to look at Rebecca. âSo, your business?â
âYes.â She pulled a pile of papers from her pocket, dropping them on the wooden table. âWe need a special number on this guy. Heâs been skulking around, sniffing for details about the State Alchemist programme. Just something strikes me as strange. Think we could do with knowing more about him, donât you?â âWell, you arenât wrong.â Chris reached over, lifting one of the photos, eyes narrowing as she stared, before nodding, and placing it back on the table. âIâll do what I can for you. Do you have a name?â âYes.â Rebecca started, another piece of paper adding to the pile. âHe-â âGrandma, is it ready yet?!â A small voice echoed as little feet bounced down the stairs, and a little boy stopped at the door, catching the door frame, before staring. âOh.â He waited, scanning the room, before slinking over to Chris, wrapping his arms around her leg, peeking around at the two guests with a giggle.Â
âArenât you going to say hello?â Chris chided softly, hand reaching down to gently muss the boyâs hair as he stepped out from behind her, grinning shyly.
âHi Aunt Rebecca. Hi Uncle Havoc.â
Jean offered him a gentle wave and smile. âHi, little Chief.â
âMaes!â Rebecca knelt down as Chris stepped back to the stove, gently squishing a cheek as she kissed him, the little boy beaming as she did. âI didnât know you were here!â She brushed the dark hair from his eyes with a fond pat on the head. âAre you having a sleepover with Grandma?â
âYes! Mama and Papa have a han-quet tonight,â he announced proudly, chest puffing as he pushed up the sleeves of his pyjamas, Rebecca cooing softly at the soft lisp as she stood back up.
âBanquet,â the older woman corrected, Maes huffing slightly before looking up at her, bottom lip protruding as he pouted, pointing a finger. âYou said youâd read me a story almost ten minutes ago!â Chris raised an eyebrow as she glanced down at him, a determined, stubborn little face scowling back at her, before rolling her eyes.
âYou are so like your father. Go, wash your face and pick a book, and I will be up.â The little boy squealed with delight, disappearing back up the stairs, almost tripping over his own feet. âProperly!â She hollered after him, shaking her head as she gave the pan a last stir, before taking it off the heat.
âHeâs such a sweet little thing,â Rebecca sighed, smiling as she watched after him, before grinning smugly at the older woman. âI didnât know you offered bedtime story reading.â
âOnly to special customers.â Chris chuckled lowly, decanting the pan into two mugs. âRoy-boy and little Elizabeth are at a state gala dinner, so I said I would have him.â She glanced at Jeanâs hopeful gaze on the pan, before sliding the second mug across to him, and he beamed in delight as he picked it up. âI hope you get good rates, nanny to the Fuhrerâs son and all.â âBetter rates than I get playing nanny his subordinates, anyway.â
Kaye, is there any possibility we get drabbles on chariv in the other world? From time to time, just to fill the longing for them.
Iâll think about it đ
