Tried a different angle for the face on this one, unsure how I feel about it but I like the rest of the drawing 😭

She was also a Dark Forest trainee who was introduced to it by her mentor, Sunstrike, and later indoctrinated her own apprentice, Larktalon, into it. She felt immense guilt for this that she never really got over. Larktalon and hers relationship was very stiff and formal after everything went down, and she regrets not making more of an effort to make it up to Larktalon after she died. She has complicated feelings about Sunstrike as well, though she believes that she meant well.
The reason she trained in the Dark Forest was similar to Ivypool's: she felt inferior to her sibling(s) (though i will say, Ivypool was not a bad apprentice, she was just up against her sister with superpowers, whereas Furzepelt actually was a problem kid lol). Furzepelt had anger issues and it had cost her prey in the past and gotten her in trouble with her mentor more times than she could count. Compared to the stoic, reasonable Boulderfur and the analytical, intelligent Crouchfoot, she felt like a failure. So when Sunstrike offered her the help of dead Clan cats, how could she say no?
