Hello! It’s Kaiden! I’m enjoying my time on Tumblr so far and I found a youtube video maybe by PinkiePosh love her she is so adorable. On Tumblr her name is @positivelypinkie. Check her out! She is also a fellow furry which is amazing! Anyway, she did a video called the Furry Challenge and I really liked it so I thought I’d do it as well! Well, here I go. 1. Do you attend any furry conventions? 12. Is there anything you hate about the fandom? 13. Is there anything you would like to say to the young or new members of the Furry fandom? 1. Hey! I’m Kaiden. My fursona is actually two different characters, but I have Zombie and then I also have Slyth! 2. Well, Zombie is a lot like me in the concept he is quiet and silly. He enjoys music and friends, but likes to be alone sometimes. Zombie is the more me character. The person I am right now. However, Slyth is the person I wish to be. He is hyperactive. He enjoys lots of company and dancing. He enjoys attention and is super friendly. He isn’t an introvert and he is definitely fun. 3. I’ve been a furry for a while. I first learned about them when I was… 9 or 10, but I don’t think I became a furry myself until I was 13. So, 4 years ago. 4. The first time I saw furries I was on Deviant Art I think. I saw a post about someone saying how they were wish they could afford a fursuit of their furry. Then, they had a drawing of their fursona. I fell in love. I started reading into what u was seeing and it took a few extra years to become a furry, but since then I’ve been a proud furry. 5. Well, let’s see. I was always bullied when I was a kid. I still get bullied. It happens, but I spent lots of time alone in my room listening to music. I became comforted by things on the Internet. That’s when lots of my hobbies started. Cosplaying, writing fanfictions, anime it all sort if sent me to DeviantArt. Then, I learned about furries. I didn’t know what to think at first. It was a weird fandom, but what fandom isn’t? However, I was in love with animals. I thought I could fell connections with them when I was younger so when I came cross furries it made me happy. It took me a while to finally call myself a furry though and ever since I did I was immediately accepted into the fandom. It was comforting. Everyone was so nice and I loved that. People aren’t nice to me very often so it was great. 6. Everyone who is close to me. I mean I post it everywhere. If you follow me on Tumblr or are friends with me on Facebook then you know I’m a furry. No, I don’t hide it. I mean I don’t randomly bring it up in conversations, but if someone confronts me about it I won’t hide it. 7. Well, if they know what it is then usually with either disgust or enjoy meant, but if they don’t know what it is then they usually answer with confusion. Then, I get to explain to someone what it is the right way so they don’t get the wrong first impression. 8. Yes, some of the stereotypes are real. Are all of them? No, but some of them are. I wouldn’t say I am a stereotypical furry. 9. I am human yes. No matter how much I joke about not being human, I am. I font doubt it. I mean if resurrection is real then I could easily say I could’ve possibly been something else on the past. 10. Sadly, no I do not. I do not have the money for one, but I’m saving up for one. 11. Unfortunately, no I don’t. I really would like to go to Anthrocon, but it’s hard because I’m a few states away. 12. Well, there is something I hate about every fandom. I hate the fact people always have to face haters with their own hate. I understand people can be very stupid and hate on others for no reason, but we don’t need to fall to their level and be mean right back. 13. Yes. Listen if you’re a new member to the fandom do not worry. It may seem scary to join something with so much diversity in its people, but do not worry if you like this then enjoy it. Don’t let anyone tell you differently. There will always be people in every fandom that think they are better then others don’t get discouraged I’m here for you. I enjoy making sure you are comfortable on this wonderful fandom. That’s all! I hope you all enjoyed this little thing.
