↳ August 20 - Day 3: Favourite funny interviews.
Today, I had the most concerning but also most hilarious interview that I have ever had.
1. The first thing the older interviewer (OI) said about my resume was, "You have the best name!"
2. OI said that the younger interviewer (YI) is "my least favorite co-op" (couldn't tell if he was joking)
3. *YI asked if I had any weird/strange hobbies. I mentioned that I watch anime*
OI: Isn't anime, like, the cool thing to watch now?
4. I saw that OI had written "anime" on my resume, so hopefully he was just testing his pen and that doesn't mean that he's ruled me out
5. *talking about what video games I play*
OI: My 13 year old son also plays Minecraft. Whether that makes you cool or not...
YI: Yeah, she's cool.
Me: It's better than Fortnite.
YI: Oh, definitely.
OI: What's that?
YI: You don't wanna know.
OI: Is that something on TikFace?
YI: You mean Tiktok?
OI: Yeah, whatever it's called.
6. *talking about how I like history and reading and learning languages*
OI: You might be the first well-read co-op we have.
7. *when I stand up to leave. Note: my last name is a little-known unit of measurement, so we had gotten on the subject of height*
OI: Wow, you really are 5'2"!
