Hey there everyone, a dear friend of mine (who has several pain-causing medical problems) is doing a tarot-reading fund-raiser in order to get some items that she really needs.

I need a few things to set up the bedroom. 1. I'd like to get an over-bed table, like they use in hospitals, so I can use my laptop in bed. Using it on my lap isn't possible because Arachne's old and overheats ridiculously easily. This would cost $50-75. 2. I would also like to get a bedrest, so I can prop myself up and take pressure off of my spine and hips to keep a semi-decent day from becoming a really bad day. This is about $30. 3. I'd like to get more TENS electrodes so I can use it on the days when I can actually pinpoint a spot to use the TENS on. I'd get these TENS electrodes, which should last approximately forever.

4. I'd also like to get a Nook Color, so I can read on the bad days, since holding books hurts my hands on those days. (I have arthritis there too.)

PORT TOWNSEND — Congressman Jay Inslee, a Democrat from Bainbridge Island running for governor, won’t make it to the Jefferson County Democratic Party’s Fish Feast in person today. But that doesn’t mean he won’t address those at the fundraiser gathered at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds at 4907 Landes St. in Port Townsend. Inslee was scheduled to make his first Jefferson County campaign appearance at the annual fundraiser for county Democrats today but instead remained in Washington, D.C., for weekend votes on the federal debt limit. He is expected to use Skype, the Internet video service, said Teri Nomura, Jefferson County Democratic chairwoman.
