Face reveal I guess? This is out of character for me, but it really is a great shot so I gotta share it here too. Plus the socks are just Fun and deserve to be seen!
One of the highlights of the Beacon Bits meet-up before Tuesday's CR live show in New York was meeting & chatting with Mike Celery, a professional photographer who randomly stumbled across the gathering and was immediately adopted by the community. He was a really neat fella and I'm overjoyed that he found such a warm welcome! Since I wasn't in cosplay (I haven't cosplayed since early 2020, just before the big shutdown) I never would have expected someone to take my photo on purpose, so it was a really special experience when he asked to take these photos of me — definitely glad I opted to dress up a bit!
His gallery is FULL of wonderful shots of Critters in and out of cosplay! You can find it here, along with downloading photos and/or ordering prints: https://cropshopstudios.pixieset.com/criticalrolemeetupatradiocitymusichall/uneditedjpegs
Notes:
The wee little Caleb was made by @konoha77-d20! He got a lot of compliments, though he also jumped out of my pocket every chance he got lmao. She makes a matching Essek and a larger size of them too, so if you'd like some weezards of your own, definitely commission her!
The socks are from Groovy Things Co, a Texas-based sock shop that I have fallen in love with. They run specials pretty often so I encourage y'all to check them out too!
Bonus: I think this shot of one of the nearby hotdog vendors looking on at our shenanigans might be my favorite photo in the whole gallery, taken in context:

Someone asked if I owned some fuzzy socks. The short answer is yes. The long answer is I lost most of them in the move. Will be getting more though. Here's a pair I still have.
The next set of colorwork motifs! Butterflies!
I'm enjoying the transitions between colors.
But I'm not sure if I should keep repeating the same two or go hunt for new ones.
