essentially the amazing digital circus connects to 'The Inter-Net' (the Internet, just introduced in a fun way by Caine) as one of Caine's games, which opens the circus up to other games, but instead it connects to some other Amazing Digital Circus (possibly from a different universe — I think that'd be a cool 'in-universe' way to explore the multiverse) where the Jax from the Inter-Net transmitted universe falls through. Something was clearly up very wrong with the Digital Circus he came from, and that's not just judging by his appearance.
