This is Fulmen, an excitable being with a habit of electrocuting their enemes with vigor. This shocking being of absolute destruction is actually an affection loving praise whore who just wants to hug others. They are Amoras cousin, if you can’t tell by the body shape.

Dreams of a Happier Time (29)
The dance itself was not like any others he’d done. Rather than grace, it almost seemed like he was fighting someone he couldn’t see, powerful, fast movement and weaving to dodge something, and the music followed in suit. Honestly it really was rather fitting. She was a fighter to the core. However where her element was building was below...in that white glow under the bridge, but the lights themselves seemed to dim as they were drawn away, even blinking off for a moment, But that didn't disrupt him. In fact he seemed to strike faster as the world around him dimmed and flickered into darkness. He wouldn't lose. Nothing would stop him now...but goodness this was actually somewhat exhausting. Thankfully he didn't have much longer to continue this. He finished with a post, both fists to his sides and curled into fists, legs spread apart, knees bent slightly, and the lights surged back on at full strength as a bolt of electricity surged up to greet him.
"Hello." Fulmen said. "I have arrived."
"It's time to get going then?" Saga asked, panting slightly.
"It's probably be for the best." Fulmen said with a short nod of it's head. "Let's get going. Which was is it?"
"This way." Saga answered and walked off. The route was straightforward, back to the elevator but taking the door to it's left. Pass through the dark room that was Mettaton's central stage for his shows. Now...they were almost there.
Fulmen noticed Saga's slowed pace. "Are you frightened?"
"Maybe..." Saga said uncertainly. "I'm getting close to the goal I've been after all this time. I feel a lot of things...and we're going to be attacked by Flowey. I won't be surprised but it's still kind of frightening."
"Just make sure you run when I say so." Fulmen stated. "He won't be able to defeat me without a lot of damage. He won't be able to get in your way."
“I just want to say...thanks you. I don’t feel like I deserve this but you’re probably gonna do it no matter what aren’t you?” Saga said as he tried to pick up the pace.
“I am and it’s because I want to. It’s what I’m good at.” Fulmen said simply.
“Well then...let’s find you other things that you’re good at when there’s no need to fight.” Saga offered as they reached the last elevator. The two stepped inside and Saga clicked the only button there was to press. They waited in silence as the metal box moved them to where they needed to be. The doors slid open and the area was a gull grey. “Here we are.”
“...Hold on.” Fulmen said, sounding a little shaken as the prince stepped outside. “What is this place?”
“New home?” Saga offered.
“No, I mean, WHAT is this place?” She asked. “There’s...no primary elemental affinity anywhere. It’s all mute.”
“Is that weird?” Saga asked.
“It’s unnatural!” Fulmen answered with surprising force. “It’s like it’s just...empty space.”
“Well I don’t know what that really means for you but I...well, I mean, WE need to get going. There’s a flower waiting for us.” Saga reminded.
“R-right.” Fulmen muttered and slowly slid out of the elevator. They didn’t seem happy to be here but nothing seemed outright wrong, and after a moment to adjust, she was keeping up with the prince’s pace. The path was straightforward and soon they were before a house. Fulmen raised an arm quickly. “Hold. He’s here.”
Flowey rose infront of the door and seemed slightly cross. “What the heck? You have another one? How did they know I was here?” Flowey demanded. “Teleport after my third attack.” Fulmen whispered. “Now step back.”
Saga did as she commanded, looking rather nervous. “Oooooh, so we’re not talking this time? Just gonna get right to it?” Flowey asked, his voice slowly getting distorted. Fulmen answered with a quick bolt at the flower, searing off one of the golden petals, getting a startled cry of pain from the flower. “GYAAAAHHH!!! You...I’ll get you for that!” Vines erupted from the ground and threw his petal bullets, his attention entirely on the offending lightning elemental. Fulmen darted backwards and behind a tree before peeking out and firing another bolt, this time Flowey ducked under the ground to dodge it, popping up somewhere else and this time raising the vines to try and physically strike Fulmen, however she countered by clasping her hands together and releasing a pulse of electricity in all directions...the third attack! Saga tensed, imagined the inside of the house, and vanished. Flowey was too focused to notice the prince’s disappearance.
Saga was on the other side of the door, panting heavily, but advanced, ducking under the chain that lead downstairs. He had to go...thankfully, it was pretty much a straight shot there, no branching paths he had to think about. He wasn’t sure when he started running or why but he ran. Nobody was in his way anymore. He briefly recalled the chapel. Empty. He reached the throne room and finally saw him. The gentle crinkling of grass under the prince’s feet alerted the king that someone was in the room.
“Dum dee dum...hm? Someone there?” He asked, slowly turning to face his guest, and his eyes went wide as he saw who had arrived. Saga stumbled forward. His fatigue had caught up with him. There were so many things to say, so many emotions welling up, he reached forward and tried to keep walking. He was here, finally he was here, everything would be over...the world seemed to blur together into a mass of colors and he fell forward. Asgore swiftly knelt down and caught his child before cradling the prince in his arms. “Oh Saga…” He said softly. “I’m sorry I did not stay by your side...it must have been hard to make it here. Goodness, you’re still so warm, and your dress is dirty. I’ll have to get you right to bed.” Despite his concern, Asgore felt a bloom of affection, his son had clearly pushed himself as much as he could just to see him. “I love you, my dear child.” Asgore whispered as he stood up and made his way back to his house.
Saga rose in a very familiar place. He was in his bed...he was in his room. W-was it a dream? He quickly reached into his dress and grabbed what he could. A Blue candy wrapper and a Red Leaf...from the Ruins. The ruins...something...he shook his head. He was still waking up but he felt something was off. Something was important. Something needed to be done. However the smell of breakfast was causing his mind to wander. Saga pulled the blankets down and noticed that his dress was...sort of scuffed and singed in some places. He’d have to ask about that. He opened the door and wandered out to the living room. “Daddy?” He asked.
“Saga!” Asgore exclaimed from the kitchen. “Goodness gracious child, what are you doing up? You should still be in bed.”
“B-but I woke up.” Saga said. “I feel fine.”
“Are you quite sure?” Asgore asked. “You collapsed when you arrived at the throne room.”
“I did?” Saga asked. “I don’t remember everything...but I feel happy to be here.”
“Well, if you wait a little longer, these hotcakes will be ready to eat!” Asgore said cheerfully.
“Hotcakes? Oh boy!” Saga was rather excited for this. Asgore didn’t make those too often! Minutes of eagerness passed before the king emerged with two stacks of pancakes and set the two plates on the table, one infront of Saga and one at his seat before the two tucked into them, and they went surprisingly quickly. Saga ate with a hunger that Asgore had never witnessed in him before and found himself eating with the same gusto. These really were excellent hotcakes.
“Haaah...I missed this…” Saga said as an unexpected sense of melancholy washed over him. “Just here...eating with you. Nothing going on.”
“I like spending time with you as well.” Asgore said warmly. “How about I make us some tea?”
“Oh, yes please, with honey mixed in!” Saga said happily.
“Of course. Just how you like it.” Asgore nodded and stood up, taking their empty plates back to the kitchen, and started gathering what he’d need. However there was a knocking at the door. “Oh my. I wonder who that could be. Saga would you get that?”
“Oh. Sure thing.” Saga pushed the chair back and hopped off to get to the door. Opening the door revealed a very relaxed skeleton that the prince was somewhat familiar with. “Hm? Hello?”
“Sup prince.” The skeleton said casually. “I’m here to tell you that while I’m glad you’re have a great time with your dad, you REALLY need to get him out of here and to safety, cause the barrier fell and the human just finished Mettaton.”
Saga felt his blood freeze as everything rushed back to him in a painful surge of memories. “O-oh no…” He whispered. “Is there...another way there?”
“Nope.” Sans said. “Sorry kiddo, you took too long, and now there’s no path to certain safety. Not that it’s your fault. You just don’t have the strength to really handle all this. Sure tried though.”
“Ahhh…” Saga was at a loss. “W-what do I do?”
“Dunno. It’s up to you.” Sans said. “I’m gonna be waiting ahead. Asgore’s probably gonna want to tend to his flowers. I’m gonna see if I can stop the human for good.” He could see the prince was...frightened. “You know you can run away.”
“What?” Saga asked. He wasn’t really expecting that.
“I’ll level with you. You did good. You made it here. Stopped the human a few times. Survived them even. I know you can’t do that warping thing and take other people with you but it’ll get you past the human. Just get yourself to safety.”
Saga was silent. That...how could he even consider that an option? All this and then just leaving? No. He couldn’t accept that. He wouldn’t. “T-thank you for the offer but I’m not going to do it.” Saga said. “I can’t leave him behind.”
“Thought you’d say that.” Sans said with something of a knowing grin. “Darn shame. Ah well, maybe you can pull something off, who knows. Anyway get your dad out of here.”
“You too.” Saga insisted. “We’re gonna go right away so you shouldn’t linger either.”
“Hm?” Sans asked. “Naw...naw I have my own other reason for wanting to stop the human. I’ma go ahead and wait for ‘em. You on the other hand...well...no you’ve seen what they do, I guess you have plenty of reason to wanna fight them, don’t you? Difference between you and me is you still got something to lose. Family.” Saga didn’t respond...at least not right away. “Come on kid...you’re kinda everyone’s last home here. For the future of monsterkind alright?”
“...You’re kinda dumb for being a smart guy.” Saga muttered. “Telling a kid to go and live while you go to what I bet you KNOW is your death.”
“Hey now, I’ma pretty tough guy.” Sans said defensively. “But I know about the human’s...return thing. You know about it also. Question is, how long can they keep it up, and how long before they finally quit? If anyone can do it...pretty sure that guy would be me.”
“You’ve been watching haven’t you?” Saga asked.
“Sure have.” Sans admitted passively. “Doesn’t have a lot but I’ve seen plenty. Now how about you get a move on?”
“Right. Good luck then.” Saga said and closed the door. He needed to get him and Asgore moving. There was no time for tea anymore.
