The final steps in #winterizing... winterizing is key specially when making #cartridges this step ensures that your carts won’t get clogged and they won’t taste burnt. We used one 2.5 #micron lab filter cut to fit the #bucknerfunnel and then using a simple coffee filter above that. With the alcohol at freezing temperatures this creates the separation of the fats and lipids, we then pull a vacuum and run it. And you can see how much solids we pulled out of this small batch. We then purge the alcohol off and tomorrow morning we will be getting it into the vacuum chamber to finish the purging and will be making a small batch of “grape ape” flavored carts using @waxliquidizerusa products.
