Today is #fullfaceanyage with @lauriesfaves one of my dearest friends I’ve had the pleasure of making on this platform ❤️ She created this challenge to bring awareness to the lack of inclusiveness of mature beauties in the beauty industry. I logged in to find that she mentioned me in her caption 😭 (go check it out), but what she doesn’t realize is that SHE is inspiring to so many of us on here too. Yesterday I was watching her Stories and she said something that really hit home for me...”Someone send me a verbal slap if I apologize for my roots again. THIS is NORMAL.” In my head I was like omg you look fine! But then I thought about how I cringe feel when posting pics with my silver strands or when a viewer on Stories DMs in shock with the “OMG you have Grey hair!!” Grey hair isn’t something anyone should be ashamed of! Count your lucky stars that you’ve leveled up to an age where you get to experience them. Not everyone does. I’m on team Laurie.
