A theory about the South Downs cottage
I think Aziraphale and Crowley’s cotage is in Fulking, and I’ll tell you why.
Neil Gaiman said in a reply to an ask it’s by Devil’s Dyke, and Fulking is one of the closest villages to it.
This is a map of Fulking. The Ginger Jungle - The Online Houseplant Shop. Could you be a bit less obvious, Crowley?
Also notice the Shepherd & Dog inn. I checked the menu and I think Aziraphale would love it. They also support the local community!
Aziraphale would also love this well (the inscription says “He sendeth springs into the valleys which run among the hills Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness”)
And Fulking also has a website, where you can learn about the activities in the community, such as the Book Nook in a former chapel (not consecrated anymore, I assume)
or Seedling Sunday (with cakes and jam!)
And this is how it looks like in Fulking:
Of course, you can have your own headcanons about the location of the cottage, but I’ll definitely be visiting Fulking when I go to England for a tour of Good Omens locations :)
