‘ ‘ lucky you --- you don’t look like one, ’ ’ sherry said as she ran a hand through her hair before pushing up her reading glasses. a lack of sleep had become as natural to her as breathing, as the generous swipe of concealer in the morning. there were people who could have grim shadows under their eyes and still look good, she looked like a panda. a tired, grumpy panda. probably because a lack of sleep did make her quite grumpy.

     Sabertooth was... strange.

     Jellal has been reading Sorcerer Weekly at a table ( or more like skimming through, not really paying attention ; this wasn’t really his type ) --- minding his own business while Sorano caught up with her younger sister, when the Tigers’ old guildmaster plopped down into the seat across of his. Friendly as always, with a wide grin on his face, Sting Eucliffe is a bright, loud presence and makes the Heavenly Body mage mourn half-heartedly his lack of social abilities --- because he used to be good at this, at entertaining conversations, but he isn’t anymore.

     Nothing could have, however, prepared for the question that follows. Not even Siegrain.

     He’s thrown off, wide eyed --- he doesn’t know what to respond. He doesn’t know what to say --- what can he possibly say to THIS ??

     “I, uh---” he clears his throat.

                 fragility of closure, SINS BURIAL; winters deepest chasms scream chilling / unforgiving. an angels pardon he was blessed, but nightmares of horror lay unrest. his childish whims & vengeful approach sent many lives into disarray, & some unto realms unbeknownst. ur / lyon / ultear; one mans, no, one boys foolish decision impacted them all indefinitely. grievous shivers, parlous stern mask━━━━ his life lamentable, with only fairies blinding light keeping him afloat. ah, camaraderie’s euphoria / impenetrable shield, such dawns holy since sins birth, as his saving grace. it is only in recent years, in recent adventures, that few unaffiliated the infamous guild have infiltrated his heart, & subdued demons cries. rosy flushes to pale cheeks threaten pursuit upon gray’s silent recognition. stubbornly shaking his head, the mage ensured eye contact was sustained before.  .  .

it has been a Time since the war, but paperwork was always a thing. it was one of the less fortunate side effects of being a guild master, but one bob would take any day. but...well. today was not a Paperwork Day but instead the end of a meeting with guild masters and it seemed his old friend Goldmine was having talks with the young man he brought along with him.

so bob set his sights on one of the younger ones. he smiled up at the young blonde man---third generation dragon slayer wasn’t that a feat?--and effortlessly walked through the table that separated them until he was in front of the other.
