@fukukaichcâ and I discussed this RP.~ â„
The substitute looked... well, he looked really stern. The kind of stern that reminded her of Makoto, sort of, but bereft of the undercurrent of care that resonated in her friendâs presence if one paid close and careful attention. It was possible that Odagiri-San was the same, but she had her doubts--and while she didnât want to admit it to herself? Part of the bias against him was well beyond his control... and rooted deeply in the actions of a bastard of a man who may have been brought to justice, but whose presence still loomed large over her nightmares on occasion. Time would spare her from those terrors at some point, or so was the hope.
The best she could do was wait for those wounds to heal.
...and that frustrated her to no end.
A low sigh and she shuffled the papers on her desk a little, trying to find the loose sheet that sheâd started to take notes on--and as soon as she found it? It slid out from beneath her fingers, floating to the ground. Ann bit her lip faintly to muffle any errant sound of frustration as she leaned over, a calloused digit managing to pin the corner down before it could escape. As she gathered it up, she grew aware of the teacherâs approach... and before she could stop herself? She was recoiling away from him, snapping upright with a speed that she knew was noticeable. Unable to bring her gaze up from her desk, the Lovers just--tried to will herself through the floor, somehow.
