Hey remember that time in CoS, when Malfoy said that Hermione didn’t belong at Hogwarts because of how magical blood is something you have to be born with, and Ron got all offended, but then Hagrid stepped in and was like: “If magical blood isn’t real, the lived reality of wizards globally is erased. I know and love mudbloods, but erasing the concept of blood purity removes the ability of many to meaningfully discuss their lives. It isn’t hate to speak the truth,” and then everyone immediately stopped being offended and agreed because of how much sense that made? And wasn’t it so lovely how Ron and Harry then went on to be Such Incredible Allies, just totally 100% supportive of Hermione hanging around pretending to be a witch, even though, as we all know, she was actually a muggle, with zero magic, because she couldn’t possibly, because blood?
