But all in all i have no issues with gay storylines but everything is soooo corny and cheesy in BL dramas and like mystical.. as in "these gays are straight from a fairytale and all the boys are handsome cute and sexy and in love with each other" but a realistic relationship seems very difficult to find.

Im all for gay stories but the writing and the casting could be so much better.

Also i despise that it is aimed at young straight women rather than people who identify as not-straight but hey then again, perhaps gay people actually love it and i just don't see it properly.

I remember phu and thee in hormones and they had a nice slow burn of getting closer and then eventually breaking up but their story didnt consume everything. Later in love sick there was phun and noh i believe and that was already a lot more laying it on hella thick and unrealistic. (Suddenly their entire friend group had boyfriends🤔 really) Besides they demonized the fuck out of phuns ex which was unnecessary 🙄 not to mention glorifying top/top relationships and ridiculing femme bottoms like theyre clowns 😒

I guess fujioshis buy merch and shit which makes a profitable target audience but i do wonder if it the gays themselves even fw it or nah
