Thinking abt the fuffleverse and how it needs a lot of work but I think it would be cool to subvert the light=good and pure dark=bad, tainted, evil. But like. Kinda subtle abt it at first? Bc u don't notice it it'll be like. Light vs "fake" light?(fuffle org vs New Heights Corporation) but then after NHCorp is dismantled and Alpine and Avian have to go into hiding the fuffles start uncovering nasty secrets and lies and coverups abt war crimes, terrible deeds, and corruption to the core, they are appalled. Bc they had a part in it and they are so disgusted with the whole thing and with themselves for being part of it(even tho they didn't know) but theydont have the time to react, bc the org doesn't want them spilling those secrets to the public, so a kidnap and kill order like thing is sent, make these ppl disappear and the fuffles have to go into hiding, (the shadows! Their hiding place is basically like. the underground, the dark, the fringe) where they happen upon Avian and Alpine Heights,(also in hiding) and certain circumstances forces them into an unlikely alliance and shenanigans happen and stuff !!!
