in my hand, a warm cup of tea. on the ground, falls the rain. flickering on my desk, a candle. through my laptop, plays the soft music. outside my window, the thunder rumbles. covering my lap, a soft blanket. swirling through the air, a vanilla scent. flashing across the sky, continuous lightning. gliding across the paper, a pen.

For so long a wall stood in front of my future. No ability to imagine or dream, but even worse, no desire. Eventually though... time came along to act as a suture. The passing year, where a wall became a window fogged by steam. Until one fateful trip left my drive and want fueled by fire. The steam had passed, but now in the way was bulletproof glass. Left behind the glass, is flames and a loaded gun. The inferno desperately claws... scared of losing precious air. Too scared, I am, of being once again overrun. Afraid I'll rip the still-new gauze. The glass makes it all too unfair. I only hope that in this episode, that the gun and fire are enough... to make this glass explode.
