This bird screamed: I really hope this picture gets into that magazine called Vogue, otherwise Blondie will bite you to death. She DID say that. Â
I look outside my window, and the catalyst for these words are those little hippity-hoppity things that can wave their arms all about and suddenly gain dominance over gravity.Â
When playing a bit of hackey-sack in a wonderful park a few weeks ago I had to bring a brief reprieve to our game as the hawks catching streams of air happened to be a bit more awe inspiring than the lifeless ball we gave flight to. It's as if there are highways full of taxis buzzing about in the air, and these incredible creatures can seamlessly hitch a ride at any point with the smallest expenditure of their own energy. Wonderful.
Have you ever seen the smaller of two birds trying to keep up with his buddy going from branch to branch, increasingly higher and farther away from their nest? You know all those times they love to fly just the smallest of distances before your car? We're surrounded by these beautiful avant-garde thrill seekers swooping about, and my delight only heightens.Â
Tossing bread to the ground with the intention of bringing in these little buddies for a feeding frenzy almost feels like eliciting a conversation with the little guys. It is pretty much impossible not to release a few laughs when seeing them hop about on the ground. They are so freaking beautiful. Seriously, I'm sure you're well aware of how freaking beautiful these animals can be, but this is definitely a point of conversation that needs to be had this instant. They're almost (not almost, they are) majestic, or a thing of royalty, perched upwards with their plump belly. I love their plump bellies, they rock it so awesomely. I just want them all to be my friends and hop and dance while I am out lying down taking in the sun.
