Itâs a daily occurrence that I think about how shallow this generation is. The same generation thatâs been built around sensitivity, emotions, and acceptance of everyone within, being absolutely disgusting toward those who donât meet the criteria of being âprettyâ or âattractiveâ.
Iâve seen the most beautiful people, inside and out, post themselves on social media in hopes of sharing their lives with others, be slandered and harassed because of a mere flaw. Things that shouldnât even be considered flaws.
News flash, but being human isnât ugly. Itâs a beautiful thing to see someone wake up, be able to walk, breathe in air, and live life. And these beautiful things are overlooked by miserable people who think that doing something as simple as eating, is embarrassing.
Why are we shoving people into boxes, and saying that if they donât look or act a certain way, that itâs acceptable to discriminate against them? Life. Is. A. Gift. So next time you see someone who you donât think looks a particular way in your standard, remember that itâs a blessing you have the ability to even see them. With your eyes, that you are blessed to view them with.
