Reasoning

got a bunch of suggestions but narrowed it down to these 4 because they're the fastest (meteor). besides being fast I've got some individual reasoning for each option to help in the decision making process

cheetah: I didn't draw it here but I was thinking in the final design i could make the spots look like constellations. besides being the fastest animal here, Erza is a dog and that kind of works out great since dogs and cheetahs are bros irl.

Ostrich: he gives me bird vibes, mostly because birds are really smart. (even though ostriches aren't actually all that smart by bird standards he still gives off the intelligence aura just by being a bird)

bunny: in Christianity rabbits represent rebirth and new beginnings, which makes sense for him. also besides being fast bunnies are a lot more powerful then they look. I watched a rabbit absolutely body a small dog once. shit was wicked.

deer(gazelle): another fast animal. I already made lucy a deer and since they have a similar magic type i thought it would make sense to make them a similar animal too
