Malleus x Reader

Synopsis: just Malleus and you going for a walk through the forest, with interesting conversation choices.

"Are you sure it's safe for you to be doing that?" malleus asks, more in a curious tone than a worried one.

Not bothering to turn your head you say "Nope, but nothing happened to me yet!". Though you didn't look his way you can still feel his eyes on you, you wonder if he knows just how intense his gaze is.

"And why do you choose to walk in the water?" he glances at your shoes that you're currently holding in your hand.

You and malleus decided to go on a walk through the forest when you saw a stream of water. you decided to take your shoes off and walk beside him while in the water.

"cuz why not?" you smiled up at him. He looked at you with a soft smile, amused but curious. You continue your walk, after a short while you both were just walking a comfortable silence.

You guess he really can't tell how intense his stare is. you can still feel him watching as you kick your feet around the water. " y'know I would say it's rude to stare, but I know I'm just so beautiful you can't help it". you said sarcastically as you shot him a playful look. you turned to face him with a smirk and a mischievous look plastered on your face. He stops walking and bends over towards you. his hand rests on your cheek and tilts your head up a bit so his face hovers a bit over yours.

"Thank you for your permission to continue my staring, you truly are the most enchanting human I have ever seen". he pulls away from you and continues walking, leaving you slightly stunned for a moment before you awkwardly jog to keep up with him.

" Hey! that's not fair!" you yell out in response to him, still trying to catch up to him.

He chuckles and gives me a little shrug. " I'm the only human you've ever seen!"

"Oh? Is silver a joke to you?" He side eyes you with a smirk plastered on his face. Still keeping his princely charm.

"True, but you still lied, Silver is beautiful!"You catch up to him, now walking side by side. You cross your arms and glare at him. "Silver looks more like a princess than me"

"Yes I suppose so, you're a close second though" Malleus confirms, tapping his fingers to his lips. As if he were genuinely pondering your statement. Leaving you glaring at him, both confused and done with his shit.

WHEN: Late Afternoon WHERE: Three

Silver turned down her request to meet in the stairwell which is why she’s tucked into their room in Three.

It’s the first time she’s actually been inside the accommodations, but it seems fitting enough given what she knows about both the District and the Victor. What doesn’t seem fitting, is the almost sheepish way they’re replying to her intentionally baited questions. Griffin reacted similarly. There must be something in the air.

Half of her understands the hesitance that came from Caesar’s probing questions — they hit a little too close to home — but the other half of her wants to capitalize on their mutual rage. She can feel it in the hallways, hidden behind doors — stalking, waiting, growing. She isn’t faced with that same hunger now as she sits too properly in a chair, with her hands folded in her lap like some sort of proper lady.

Seriously. What the fuck is going on?

She’d scream it in an alternate universe. She’d shake their shoulders. She’d push and shove and demand the gasoline needed to fuel her fire.
