With two witch themed concoctions in hand from the theme week's specials, Ziggy can't relax even as he seats himself opposite Leo in the beer garden and sets the drinks down on the table.

It had been easier to ignore the constant cocktail of guilt and paranoia that he was dry-drowning in when the only people who knew there was anything between the two of them was the two of them. Now there was Cricket and the inability to ignore a Pax shaped poltergeist that loomed large and made him feel worse about it all by having to ask his best friend to lie by omission.

"Leo's a funny little outlier in my life because he's a fairly recent addition to it in comparison to the fact I've known most people I know here for all my life but I trust him in a way I don't trust just anyone. He's helped me out in a bind a few times when I've needed to someone to watch Theo for me and I wouldn't ask that of anyone that I didn't trust completely but he's one of those people where you meet him and you know trusting him is something you can do without second guessing it.

He's one of my daughter's favorite people in the world. It's always 'Leo this, Leo that' when she's been around him and I can see why. He's so encouraging of her, she's really interested in art now which is nice because that was never my area as a kid or in school. I was always better at math but drawing and coloring are definitely more appealing to a five year old than addition and subtraction. I hope he's still teaching here when she's old enough to be in high school, which is never going to happen because she needs to stay my baby forever.

I'm pretty settled into this dad life by now but it's not without it's challenges, but people like Leo make that a lot easier to shoulder. I hope I can be as good of an impact on his life as he is on mine." @leomlarson

With another drink he shouldn’t have in hand and another conversation he hadn’t emerged from unscathed in the rearview, Ziggy couldn’t refrain from at least making his presence known to the one person he swore to himself pre-arrival that he was avoiding that evening.
