She has no idea how she secured an invite, but she’s not complaining, it offers her a good opportunity to keep an eye on the supernatural setting. “Not surprised it’s extravagant and well, extra.” Just like every single event she’s attended thus far.

It was a good thing that the note came with info about who had sent it, because Memphis had next to no idea who Al was. He wanted to jump with glee upon holding the handle of the nice, sturdy slingshot. It was no different than the one he had practiced with in the training room. What he would use it for was unknown, but he was sure it would be used for something useful. Memphis pocketed the matches in the folds of his puffy jacket and hoped it might stick to some of the gunk still on him from earlier. It felt nice knowing that someone on the outside was thinking kindly of him. It was just like having someone from back home sending him something. “Thanks, Mr. Apollo,” he yelled at the sky, much to Alder’s dismay.
