For those of you who don’t know, I only married @ashton-brunswick for his little brother, Landon. And Dexter loves his uncle almost as much as I do.

Dexter had convinced his mother to come outside with him to explore- unfortunately, there wasn’t any snow on the ground with two days left until Christmas, but the boy seemed perfectly fine with occupying himself by looking at all of the creepy crawly things that hadn’t entered hibernation yet due to the weather. Finally, after nearly an hour, he picked up something he deemed particularly cute, cupping it in the palm of his hand before running over to where Ashton was. “Mommy! Mommy look!” he squealed, shoving his hand towards the teen. The tiny black snake filled his small palm, but on anyone else’s, it’d barely be able to wrap around their thumb. “Canz I keep it mommy? Please please please?”
