Her voice. It was the only thing Scott could hear for days -- whether it be conversations or her thoughts, he was listening to everything. He had a continuous migraine that didnât seem to fade with three times the prescribed amount of Advil, and his whole world felt as if it were a lie. Allison was dead -- she died in his arms -- Scott recalled the day all too vividly for his own liking. The memories bounced around his skull, and her face mercilessly haunted his dreams. Everything hurt. However, most of all, it was his heart that ached. He prayed to any god that there possibly was that he could have one last moment with his first love, though he tried to make himself believe it was nothing but wishful thinking -- but it was more than that. Was he going insane? He could hear her heart beat. She was upset -- something was wrong.
He almost couldnât stop himself, as he threw on a jacket and made his way towards Eichen house, the asylum that he drove past on his bike every day to go to work. This was the place where her voice was the clearest. Scott had come here several times within the week, sitting at the front gate, in order to do nothing but listen to her talk. It brought ease to his nerves, to hear her again. But, something about it felt all too real. He couldnât help but find himself at the building that held hundreds of people, some even against their own will, in secret sections where they couldnât be found by just anybody.
He made his way to the front desk, slamming his hands down onto the counter. âI need to see Allison Argent,â he stated clearly, and got a look from the guy behind the desk as if he belonged in the institution as well. âI know sheâs here,â he spoke, in a lower tone this time. Just as he was about to get more angry than he already was, a familiar face walked into the lobby. A doctor he knew well, one that was acquaintances with Sheriff Stilinski, and had helped Scott and his pack out before.
âScott McCall, what are you doing here? How can I help you?â Dr. Conrad Fenris spoke up, extending his hand to shake the teenagers in greeting.
âI need to see Allison,â he spoke bluntly, ignoring his hand.
âWho?â The doctor knit his eyebrows together in confusion. âFollow me, McCall, letâs talk about this somewhere private,â he stated, nodding his head towards the doors he had entered through.
The pair walked in silence, until they were far enough from the main lobby.
âWhere is she?â Scott demanded, his blood boiling beneath his skin.
âFollow me,â the older man sighed, using his key to open a private door, which lead down a stairwell. Dr. Fenris had always did everything he could to help, but he wasnât letting Scott know much of what was going on right now. They traveled down a few flights of stairs, past a couple more locked doors, and finally came to a single cell, one with the name âArgent, Allison.â on itâs door.
Scottâs breath caught in his throat, listening for something -- anything. He couldnât hear her now. Was she really in there? Or was it just her corpse? Scott wasnât sure what waited behind the door, and he was a little nervous to find out. The doctor entered a code into the keypad, and opened the door, stepping back to allow Scott to enter first.
                        âOh my god...â
